Retailers have been stocking nail polish in Liverpool in response to a rise in demand for the product.
Nail polish sales rose 11% in the month of February to £2.3m from the same period last year.
The nail supply chain is in the process of being rolled out to the city centre to ensure it can cope with the surge in demand.
The new stores will offer nail polish, nail clippers, nail polish brushes and other accessories to nail polish lovers across Liverpool.
Liverpool city centre is already home to nail supply chains including Lingerie Boutique, the new Liverpool Nail Salon and the new Nash Shoe and Foot Repair shop.
John Sargent, the director of nail supply for Lingeries Boutique said: “We’re happy to have the nail supply industry in Liverpool and we know that the city is home to some amazing nail salons and nail shops, and our new store will give people a place to get the best nail polish they can afford.”
Lingeries is opening its first store in the city next month.
