IBM to start offering beer for sale in its stores

IBM is set to begin selling beer in its IBM Container Store, its flagship business, according to Bloomberg.
The announcement comes less than a month after a deal between IBM and craft beer maker Redhook Brewing Co. was announced.
In a statement, IBM said it would sell beer at the store to serve as a way to “create a better connection between beer drinkers and consumers.”
The announcement follows a string of announcements from the tech giant in the last month as it has opened a new facility for the beverage business.
In July, the company opened the company’s first ever brewery in the United Kingdom.
In addition, IBM has said it is working to expand its beer distribution across Europe, and has opened the first store in the U.K. to be part of the new IBM Distribution Centre in the country.
