Trump’s VP pick for Ohio is a dickypants store
President Donald Trump is expected to pick for his Cabinet a Pennsylvania man who sells dickies, which he said are the “best thing since sliced bread.”
According to a report from the Washington Examiner, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said on Sunday that the Trump administration was “very excited” to have Rick Tyler, the son of Ohio Gov.
Ted Tyler, in the Cabinet.
Tyler has been the head of the Ohio Dairy Council since March.
Tyler and the Ohio State Fair Board are also expected to be nominees for the Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.
Tyler is best known for selling dickies to the media and for promoting a local burger chain called the Dickies and Buns.
Tyler told The Associated Press he sells between 30,000 and 40,000 of the products a day.
Tyler, a Democrat, said he wanted to give the president the best chance to pick the right Cabinet secretary.
He also said he is a lifelong Democrat and the only member of the family who was born in the U.S.
Tyler said he sells the products to promote the chain and for other businesses that sell it, but the Trump family has a long history of supporting him.
He said the president had been working with him on various issues including climate change and trade.
