The Arizona Bicycle Store, the nation’s second largest bike shop, announced Tuesday it sold $4,228,500 worth of bicycles to customers.
The bike store has been operating in downtown Scottsdale since January.
It has sold more than 1,500 bikes since then.
The new sale came in partnership with Bike Arizona and Bike Depot, two bike shops located near the bike store.
Bike Arizona will keep the bike for free to customers and use the proceeds to buy bike maintenance supplies and accessories.
The company said it’s also sold more bicycles than it ever had in the past.
Bicycle Depot has sold nearly 10,000 bikes in the last five years.
